Our Philosophy

Children learn from play and hands on activities.

Family structure is an important basis from which the children grow and develop. We believe in respect, cultural differences, and uniqueness of each individual child and family.

We believe in promoting self-esteem and confidence through developmentally appropriate activities. We base our commitment to children on these beliefs.

Our history

Founded in 1985.

The Sharon Day Care Center, founded in 1985, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization managed by a highly credentialed Director and a dedicated staff. The Sharon Day Care Center is located in the lower level of the Sharon Center School building.

Our mission as a community resource is to foster the physical, social, intellectual, and emotional development of young children through the provision of a high quality, safe, and secure environment.

The Sharon Day Care Center provides a developmental program for infants (8 weeks old and older), toddlers and pre-school children, and offers before and after school care for K thru 7th grade. The Center provides a warm, caring environment where children can interact and develop self-confidence and social skills.
